Rudrabhishek Method
First of all, select an auspicious time for the puja and get ready at that time. Also, remember to keep the place of worship clean and meditative. To start the puja, first worship Lord Ganesha. Then place the Shivling in a vessel and chant the mantra “Om Namah Shivaya”.
After that, bathe the Shivling with water and wash it with pure water. Later decorate the Shivling with incense, lamp, fragrance, and achchhambit.
