Preparations for evening aartis and rituals begin daily at 6:00 PM at our temple for goddess Mookambika and other deities, culminating with an exciting ritual called grand aarti. This daily event has long been considered to be one of the temple’s most significant rituals.
Before the Aarati takes place, a pradosha pooja takes place around 6:30 PM. At 7:15 PM a Thurthu Managala Aarati honoring deities is conducted. After which comes Salam Mangala Aarati at 7:30 PM followed by Bali Mangala Aarati which honors Goddess Durga as well as other deities at 8.00 pm followed by Kashya Mangala Aarati which honors these divine beings – this serves as the final ritual for that day!
